You are Seed Growth!

“Just as a seed needs sunshine and water to grow, our strengths need nurturing and encouragement to flourish on the path to recovery."

It’s never too late to plant a seed to grow!

You can start seed growth year-round. It only depends on what you would like to accomplish after planting your seeds. The three primary and necessary conditions for a seed to germinate are water, oxygen, and temperature.

When a seed absorbs water, a series of chemical reactions occur that activate enzymes and begin breaking down stored nutrients which also provides the energy and nutrients necessary for the seed to grow. Water also helps to soften the seed coat and allows the emerging shoot to push through the soil.

All plants require oxygen for respiration which is the process of converting stored energy into a form that any plant can use. The developing embryo within the seed requires oxygen to metabolize stored nutrients and grow.

Different plant species have different temperature requirements for optimal growth. Seeds will only germinate within a specific temperature range, typically between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures that are too high or too low can inhibit germination or cause the seedling to die.

In the process of recovery, a person's thinking, emotional regulation, and behavior are all crucial factors that are needed individually and collectively for proper results. These three elements are interconnected and play a significant role in shaping a person's overall well-being and ability to recover.

Developing healthy patterns in each of these areas can create a positive feedback loop, leading to increased motivation and progress. Neglecting one or more of these areas can hinder progress and make the recovery process more challenging.

Recovery growth is just as important as seed growth. By focusing on these areas and making positive changes, individuals can increase their chances of a successful recovery.

When you’re engaged in a conversation with someone no matter what the subject is or the environment in some cases, first you’re going to think it, then you’re going to feel it, and finally you’re going to behave to what was said in either a negative or positive way.

Today, I encourage ALL of us to Respond instead of Reacting to anything we’re confronted by today. Your growth depends on how you perform and what you say whether good or bad, a result will always have a consequence connected to it.
