“Think it, Feel it, and Act on it”

“First we Think it, then we Feel it, and then we Act on what we Think and Feel: whether Good or Bad we all have a choice of what to Pursue for our Future Well-being.”

Thinking, feeling, and acting are interconnected processes that shape our behavior. Our thoughts influence our emotions, which in turn guide our actions.

Effective emotional regulation plays a crucial role in determining whether our behavior is constructive or detrimental.

Here’s the formula:

Cognitive or Reason Processing (Thinking):

We analyze information, gather facts, and evaluate them based on our thoughts, beliefs, and assumptions, which can be influenced by our thinking patterns and biases.

Emotional Response or Reaction(Feeling):

Our thoughts and interpretations of a situation trigger various emotions based on our beliefs, past experiences, values, and personal characteristics.

Emotional Regulation:

We manage and modify our emotions after the initial response or reaction, using various strategies like a reframing or reinterpretation within our mind, distraction, relaxation.

Behavioral Response or Reaction(Action):

Our behavior is influenced by our thoughts, emotions, and how effectively we regulate them. It can be again the decision of reframing or reinterpretation impacting our subsequent thoughts, emotions, and behavior in a feedback loop.

In the end, ALL of us have a choice of how we will walk away from a seemingly harmful experience and either use it as Fuel to be more detrimental to ourselves, society and our communities or we will use it as Fuel to Learn from and create a Meaningful Measure to help Protect and Promote a Sustainable environment without strife or conflict to others.
