"Your Goals, Your Life!"

Meet London Mason,
Certified Recovery Coach
London J. Mason is the Founder and CEO of Living Well Recovery Services, LLC. Before his commitment to recovery, he served honorably in the United States Army for 25 years, completing three deployments—Desert Storm and two tours in Iraq (2003 and 2011). Throughout his military career, London received numerous awards for his service and leadership, including the Bronze Star Medal.
His time in the Army provided him with opportunities to serve as an instructor at the Military Leadership Academy and as the first Family Readiness Liaison—roles that helped shape his passion for guiding, supporting, and developing others. These experiences ultimately laid the foundation for his transition into becoming a Recovery Coach.
London is also a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certified professional through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), reinforcing his continued commitment to serving both Veterans and the broader community through leadership and recovery services.
In 2014, London became a Certified Peer Specialist and began working with the Veterans Health Administration, where he currently serves as a Supervisory Peer Specialist, overseeing and supporting fellow peer specialists. In this role, he provides guidance and mentorship to peers who are delivering critical support to our nation’s Veterans, while continuing to assist individuals committed to their own recovery journey.
As a Certified Recovery Coach, London empowers individuals to discover and walk in their purpose using a practical Strengths-Based Approach, helping them identify and leverage their unique abilities, talents, and resources to foster growth, resilience, and transformation.
He also integrates a holistic perspective, drawing on proven principles for true mind renewal—helping individuals establish meaning, recognize their value, and restore hope in their lives.
In addition to his professional experience, London has earned three certifications through Udemy:
-
Professional Life Coach Certification
-
Management Coaching Certification
-
Leader as Coach Certification
London is also the author of The 8 Valuable Seeds of True Leadership, a powerful framework centered on cultivating leadership from within. The book is available through his website and on Amazon. He is also developing a powerful interactive workbook designed to help readers apply these leadership principles in a practical, hands-on way through the leadership acronym LEADERRS.
Above all, London remains committed to sharing his personal journey of recovery, using his life, leadership, and experiences to inspire others. His mission is to help individuals not only embrace recovery, but grow through it, and ultimately empower others to carry their own torch toward lasting success.
Why Recovery?
... because Recovery is a journey or a process to a better way of life, not a destination or cure to the problems of your past.
... because Recovery is about applying new strategies towards completing lifetime goals.
... because Recovery is realizing that you're exercising newfound hope that leans towards a great future.
... because Recovery is accepting constructive feedback from a mentor who will walk alongside you and capable of giving you support.
... because Recovery is taking charge of your life through the avenues of healing and growth.
... because Recovery is accepting your past in order to embrace a better tomorrow.
Below are 4 considerations of why the Strengths-Based Approach works

Consideration #1
The Strengths-Based Approach doesn't focus primarily on a person's symptoms, problems or diagnoses as many mental health services and programs do. Instead, the Strengths-Based Approach looks at each person holistically and focuses on and amplifies the "well" part of a person.
Consideration #2
The Strengths-Based Approach helps people identify and use their inner strengths and the strengths in their environment to rebound from difficulties and create the life they want.
Consideration #3
The Strengths-Based Approach empowers people to reclaim a fuller and more satisfying life by building upon their strengths, defining their personal aspirations, goals, identifying and using the resources available within their families, friendship circles and communities.
Consideration #4
The Strengths-Based Approach honors the inherent potential for human growth in each person's life and supports each person's search for healing, meaning and wholeness, even in the midst of struggle and adversity.
